A Bit About Me - My heart for healing and growth
Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion and tailored to your unique journey, weaving together a variety of evidence-based frameworks to create a space for growth and healing, such as

Trauma-Informed Care: I deeply honour the impact of past experiences on mental health, prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment to nurture resilience and foster healing.

Schema Therapy: Together, we’ll gently uncover and transform long-standing patterns that may be holding you back.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): I’ll support you in building practical tools to navigate your thoughts, emotions, and actions with greater ease.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): We’ll explore how mindfulness and aligning with your core values can guide you toward a more meaningful life.

Attachment Theory: Understanding the influence of early relationships can help us build stronger, healthier connections in the present.

Family Systems Therapy: I’ll help you make sense of family dynamics and their role in shaping your experiences.

Neurobiology and Polyvagal Theory: By working with the wisdom of your nervous system, we’ll create pathways to emotional balance and well-being.

My Credentials
I am an endorsed clinical psychologist with 15 years experience, and an AHPRA Board-Approved Supervisor. During this time I have developed a framework based in evidence-based therapies that I believe supports them to gain a deep sense of self-understanding and self-compassion, to cultivate change.

I am trained in a range of evidence-based therapies including schema therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy, and incorporate therapeutic frameworks from attachment theory, family systems theory, polyvagal theory and the neurobiology of trauma.

I’m passionate about creating a therapeutic space where the relationship itself becomes a powerful agent of change, enhancing the effectiveness of proven techniques.
